Who We Are

AL Philanthropies, formerly the Law Family Charitable Foundation, was founded by Andrew Law in 2011 with the goal of addressing the root causes of disadvantage and increasing opportunities, empowering individuals and communities across the United Kingdom.

Over the years, Andrew has retained focus on this mission, personally enabling and supporting programs that have fostered meaningful change nationwide — from sponsoring the Laurus Trust, to serving as chair and principal sponsor of Speakers for Schools.

Today, AL Philanthropies takes on a stronger, more purposeful role — both broadening its reach and strengthening its impact, thus creating a platform for sustained change. In the tradition of philanthropy that has shaped societies for generations, ALP is committed not only to supporting the right initiatives, but also to empower networks that encourage others to give back, championing measurable outcomes, and inspiring wider participation in meaningful causes.
