PROVIDING BETTER OUTCOMES THROUGH IMPACTFUL COLLABORATION

_edited_p.png)
AL Philanthropies provides solutions to challenges that are overlooked or underfunded by government or other grant making organisations, or where society has evolved in ways that fail to recognise the equal distribution of demographic or geographic talent.

Our efforts focus on the four pillars of Education, Health, Culture, and the Environment, as we seek to enable meaningful change.

Education
A L
In Education, we seek to
level the playing field between
state and private. This includes
providing access to best-in-class facilities
and broad co-curricular programs, supporting
pupils through both high-quality education and the
development of social capital. ALP is the principal funder of Speakers for Schools, and provides the funding for AL Elevation to sponsor the Laurus Trust MAT.

Health
A L
In Health, we support innovation and wellbeing to
drive meaningful change — from funding groundbreaking neuroscience research at the University of Sheffield to supporting Place2Be, a UK charity providing school-based mental
health support — alongside othervital initiatives.

Culture
A L
In Culture, we support institutions that provide
access to art and culture for all members of society,
enriching lives and broadening perspectives. Our notable partnerships include leading British cultural institutions such as The Lowry, Serpentine Galleries, FACTORY, and the V&A.

Environment
A L
In Environment, as a founding partner of The Earthshot Prize, we provide funding to support commercial solutions addressing the urgent challenges facing our planet, turning innovative ideas into practical, real-world impact.
My aim in philanthropy is to better develop human opportunity through building institutional change to both empower and incentivise all individuals, whatever their background, to participate in an enhanced society.
The practice of philanthropy dates back several millennia, much work remains to be done.
